Located at 10007 Fields Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, The Lube Center operates as an oil change service serving Gaithersburg in Maryland. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Gaithersburg, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Maryland vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (301) 330-9860. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, washluberepair.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 1,412 reviews, which is a strong result for an oil change service in Gaithersburg and suggests consistent service.
Gaithersburg is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Gaithersburg follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Completely blown away. Drove right into the service bay with no appointment needed. Did not have to get out of my car. You can see everything being done; even a screen to see the technician under your car. All the technicians were attentive and professional. In & out quick. Entire process took maybe 15 minutes. Definitely recommend them and will use them again & again. PRO TIP: time your visit wisely & appropriately to avoid waiting. UPDATE: I had to take 1 star away. I mentioned several times I had a $10 off coupon for any full synthetic oil change. Agreed to a email receipt. Didn’t notice I didn’t get the $10 off until I got home.

I came on a Friday afternoon for an oil change. There was a long line so there was a wait, but the oil change itself was 15ish minutes. In addition to the oil change, they performed an overall inspection. Kris was my tech and he was the best! He was friendly and informative. He informed me of the repairs that I should consider given my car’s mileage. I appreciated that he took the time to talk me through the repairs and explain the importance behind it. Found a coupon on the website and got a few dollars off. Overall had a great experience and will be coming back next time!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review We had a great experience at LUBE! Debi, our technician, was professional, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job. Jorge, the manager, was very friendly, helpful, and made sure we received outstanding service. We came in for the 60,000-mile service and an oil change, and they gave us the best price along with excellent quality and customer support. The whole process was smooth, honest, and efficient. Highly recommend this team. Thank you, Debi and Jorge, for the outstanding service!

This place was amazing! It was full when we arrived but once we entered the bay, the service was quick and easy! The technician, Zach, was very helpful and helped us understand what other service may be needed to our van. He didn’t pressure us into thinking we had to do the other services like some other places I’ve been. He had great customer service!

Fraud! Scammers at this location! They use cheap, low-quality oil. The sticker says 6,000 miles, but my oil light came on before 5,000 miles. When I complained, they made excuses and told me to just turn off the oil light and keep driving — which is not safe. I only used them because of my Auto Spa membership discount, and other members have reported the same issue. See attached photos of the sticker and mileage. Very poor service and quality.
